Lazy Sunday Pancakes Worth Getting Out of Bed For
Share
The slow-morning pancakes worth staying in your pajamas for.
Lazy Sunday, fluffy pancakes
No rush, no refined sugar — just a warm stack the whole family reaches for. Finish them with a drizzle of Yakonow yacon syrup: caramel-sweet, naturally low-glycemic and rich in prebiotic fiber.*
Fluffy pancakes (serves 4)
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Yakonow, for serving
Whisk the dry ingredients, then stir in the egg, milk and butter until just combined (a few lumps are good). Cook on a lightly buttered skillet until golden on both sides. Stack, drizzle generously with Yakonow and pile on fresh berries.
Let the kids own it
The squeeze bottle is made for little hands — let them draw their own swirls. Less arguing about sugary toppings, more giggles at the table.
Make-ahead tip
Double the batch and freeze extras between parchment. A quick toast on a busy weekday, a squeeze of Yakonow, and breakfast feels special again.
