Homemade caramel latte sweetened with Yakonow yacon syrup

The 5-Minute Caramel Latte That Skips the Sugar

Cozy cafe mornings, minus the sugar crash.

Why make your latte at home?

That flavored bottle behind the coffee counter is mostly refined sugar. Swap it for one squeeze of Yakonow — 100% yacon syrup — and you get the same warm, caramel sweetness, naturally low-glycemic and rich in prebiotic fiber.* No barista required.

The 5-minute caramel latte

  • 1 shot espresso (or 1/2 cup strong coffee)
  • 2/3 cup milk of choice
  • 1–2 tsp Yakonow yacon syrup
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Steam or warm the milk until frothy. Pull your espresso into a mug, stir in the Yakonow, then pour the milk on top. Dust with cinnamon and sip slowly.

Make it iced

Fill a glass with ice, add cold brew, a squeeze of Yakonow and a splash of milk. Stir — the syrup blends instantly, no graininess.

Why it works

Yacon brings a deep, almost caramel-molasses note that flavored syrups try (and fail) to copy. One ingredient, nothing artificial, no lingering aftertaste.
